This is one of the stupidest myths i have seen. The battle server is selected while you are waiting for deployment and cant change while the battle is going. Yes PC can get laggier as the game goes on but thats because the game doing to much for PS3 to handle. The lag most people are experiencing in pc isnt even internet connection speeds, its PS3 performance issues. This is why it helps resetting after every pc. Most people are whiny children who always blame the other side when it is just as likely there fault. Defrag PS3 and turn fans on once a month, delete contacts and fittings, try deleting and reinstalling game if its been awhile, git gud fgts.

As for actual lag switches someone who had 1 said if you turn it on you dc straight away . How does that help?

If you are an Ahole who will abuse this, then advert your eyes. You go to the over head map Press L1 Go to options Go to server selection Set to something besides default Wham, mother fing bahm, lag. Why? Because as other people stated, getting in earlier changes the server selected or something like that. Apparently something with switching servers mid battle makes Dust pissed off. Let me tell you, I bet they didn't code that in expecting people to pull that. If you don't believe me, when there is a lag fest, get close to a player cloaked/damped out and switch servers. Try it a few times while cloaked and you will find a server that doesn't lag like the others. Yeah, that happens! You said you DC right away by switching servers, but that is something wrong on your end most likely. I didn't DC and neither did a few of my corp mates when we were trying to stop the rubber banding. SSD only improves your graphics, the rubber banding will still happen due to your machine recording one movement and the server having recordings of another. Know your errors before calling people out. CCP probably never saw that in the testing because who would knowingly try to lag out a game in other contracts knowing they were being watched. This does happen, because when I PC against say FA like we did Sunday there wasn't noticeable lag. Then we PC against Ecce and SOG and guess what, half way through the fight we were winning, fing piles of lag and we loose hard from their having 1/4 MCC less than us and 50 clones less than us. So tell me what happened? Good corp PC no lag, bad corp PC lots of lag. Switch servers, less lag. Half my corp flipped servers and we stopped feeling the spikes but it was too late.
